Cancelation Policy Update

The well-being and safety of Meliá’s customers and staff is vitally important, and that is why we have decided to update our booking cancellation policy for all customers and offer membership extensions to our MeliáRewards members in the light of the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19):

Customers with a booking for Meliá hotels may modify and cancel their booking for free if the booking was made between January 21 and March 31, 2020, both inclusive.


With the objective of controlling and preventing the further spread of the coronavirus, all of our hotels are following all the necessary precautions to ensure cleaning and disinfection protocols are in place, as part of our Global Preparation and Response Protocol.


Meliá is closely following the evolution of the crisis and implementing all the recommendations made by the relevant international and governmental organisations while also providing support for our guests when it is needed.
